Working together in a new reality
Holding Space means that you can simply stand next to someone in such a way that the other person feels safe enough to be vulnerable. This creates opportunities for development and growth. The other person feels really seen and heard, so he / she dares to look beyond his own boundaries.
If you want to offer Holding Space, it asks for a different attitude. It requires self-awareness, recognizing your own patterns, listening with open heart and the ability to give space for research, wonder, giving trust, giving the other person unconditional support without judgment. But how can you be a strong 'Space Holder'? How do you do that, and... which (systemic) patterns are holding you back? Annelies Meijers developed the Holding Space Inspiration Cards set and also gives workshops.
